Benny Padula’s journey as Operations Manager of ProQM began in 2023, and since his arrival the business
has grown significantly. Benny’s role revolves around planning the surveillance team’s work schedule, and
meeting and liaising with Project Managers, Senior Engineers, Site Engineers, and onsite contractors. He
monitors and plans work scope within the three main disciplines ProQM specialises in, including Welding,
Protective Coatings and Precast, to ensure work deadlines are delivered and achieved. With extensive
experience in management, his key strengths are building and nurturing a culture within the organisation that
is not only genuine, but long lasting. Benny prides himself on his ability to foster cohesive working
relationships, not only within the ProQM team, but among the clients that ProQM represents & works
alongside. He commenced his employment as a boilermaker and welder, completing a four-year
apprenticeship. This qualification provided him with a sound foundation and understanding of his current role
and work environment. His career then took a different path, deciding to pursue a career in the motor vehicle
industry with a role as Sales Manager and then ultimately General Sales Manager. Benny’s extensive
experience – with over 20 years as a senior manager in the motor industry – has helped him become the
leader he is today; one that is genuine, passionate and committed to building a team of professionals. As a
qualified trades person, Benny completed work on several large projects and infrastructure within the state of
Victoria, and continues to work on projects, including the West Gate Tunnel Project & North East Link Project
today.
