Kate Xerri

HSE Manager

Kate Xerri serves as the HSE Manager at ProQM, a position she has held since the inception of the company over a decade ago. With more than 13 years of experience in the construction sector, she brings a wealth of expertise to her role, particularly in the areas of health and safety. Throughout her tenure at ProQM, Kate has played a pivotal role in shaping the company’s culture and success. An advocate for diversity and inclusion in the construction industry, Kate spearheaded the development of the Women in Construction Technical Development Program at ProQM. This initiative aims to empower and support women pursuing careers in construction, fostering a more inclusive and diverse workforce. In addition to her focus on diversity, Kate has also been instrumental in obtaining NATA accreditation for ProQM. Over the course of a rigorous two-year project, she built the necessary systems and structures to meet the accreditation requirements, further demonstrating her commitment to excellence and compliance in health and safety standards. Kate’s educational background includes a degree in Forensic Science and a Graduate Diploma in Occupational and Environmental Health, providing her with a solid foundation for her work in the construction industry. She leverages this knowledge to ensure that ProQM’s team can undertake their work in safe environments, prioritising the well-being of all employees. Known for her proactive approach and abundance of innovative ideas, Kate is regarded as a go-getter within the organisation. She continuously seeks out new initiatives and plans to enhance ProQM’s impact in the construction industry, driving positive change and setting the standard for health and safety practices.
